A cloud with depth

Nebula is a field of points, violet and deep, arranged in layers rather than a flat picture. When the cloud condenses it draws into a bright core, with dust still drifting around that gathering. It is the world SYNFIELD opens on.

What happens when you stay

Move through the cloud and it stirs. Open your hand and the layers unfold; close it and the light pulls inward. Hold a pinch, the mouse button or a still finger, and a singularity gathers where you wait. Let go and the cloud spreads again.

With a mouse, touch or your hands

You can explore with a mouse, a touch screen or your own hands.

• Mouse and keyboard

  Move the pointer to stir the cloud. Hold the button to gather a singularity. The wheel, or the up and down keys, opens the cloud or draws it in.

• Touch

  Slide a finger to stir. Rest it in one place to gather. Spread two fingers to unfold the cloud, or bring them together to condense it.

• Hands, with the camera

  Point to stir. Open the palm to unfold the cloud, close the fist to draw it in, and hold a pinch for the singularity. The camera stays off until you turn it on.
