About
A space to explore what you cannot touch.
SYNFIELD is an independent experiment in interactive art: worlds of light, matter and sound that change as you move. Curiosity is enough to begin.

We do not all sense the same world
We all experience the world differently. SYNFIELD does not ask you to see, feel or interact in a particular way. Follow a movement, discover a pattern or simply stay and watch.
Interaction can be a way of looking
Touching, holding and letting go are forms of exploration and expression. There is nothing to win. What matters is what happens while you are there.
Technology as a sensitive material
The browser becomes a material: light that gathers, matter that follows, sound that answers. It runs on your device. If you turn the camera on, the picture is read here to follow a hand. The privacy page says what is remembered and what is counted.
How it is made
Each world is drawn in real time in your browser, with WebGL. If you choose your hands, a vision model that lives on this site runs on your device to follow one hand. SYNFIELD keeps changing: worlds are refined, and new ones arrive when they are ready.
No goals required
You do not need a score, a level or a path to finish. Stay for a minute or for an hour. Curiosity is reason enough.
