What’s new

What changes in Synfield

New things you can do, newest first. Worlds are refined and new ones arrive when they are ready, so there is no fixed schedule.

  • A gentler way to explore

Small refinements to how Synfield responds to reduced-motion preferences. Light, particles and visual movement are calmer, while breathing cycles and sound keep their natural rhythm.

  • Postcards from Synfield

When you capture a world, you can now keep it as it is, set it on a postcard with its name, or turn it into a vertical image for stories. Everything is made in your browser.

  • A smoother start, more natural touch

Mycelium responds from the first moments as its network grows. In Dune, each new touch begins its own trace, making sculpting feel more natural.

  • Synfield is now available in Italian

The site, interactive worlds, guidance and privacy information are now translated into Italian.

  • Echo: gestures that return and settle

Echo is no longer a tunnel of ribbons. Each gesture you draw now comes back as three replies, each smaller and further away, then sinks into the space as a faint trace. Over time those sunken traces become the ground of the world.

    Open Echo

  • Mycelium: a living network of light

A new world: a bioluminescent network of fine filaments that grows on its own, reaches towards your presence and lights the routes of its energy. Stay to watch it branch and connect; when you leave, it remembers for a while.

    Open Mycelium

  • Dune: sculpt the dust under a low light

A new world: a mineral landscape of dark dust under a grazing starlight. Drag to carve furrows, then hold still to turn the light and watch the shadows move across what you shaped.

    Open Dune

  • Soundscape: a night pond that sounds on its own

A new sound world: a night pond where bells, rain, air and small creatures sound and ripple the water even when no one is there. Hold to sow a presence, drag it somewhere else, or move to become the wind. Turn on sound to hear it.

    Open Soundscape

  • Eclipse: move the shadow, reveal the light

A new world where a dark disc hides a source of light. Hold and drag to uncover a bright point, then a crescent. Let go and everything slowly falls back into alignment.

    Open Eclipse

  • Helix becomes a tide of light

Helix is no longer a nave of braided ovals: it is now a single current of light that curls like a wave, winds and recedes into the distance. Hold to break it into spray, and let go for it to form again.

    Open Helix

  • See when the camera is getting ready

The first time you turn on the camera, Synfield tells you it’s preparing and gives it more time to load, so it no longer looks stuck.

  • A smoother way to explore

Small refinements to navigation and controls make moving through Synfield feel a little clearer and more natural.

Synfield opens at synfield.space

Synfield opened with these:

  • Keep an image of what you made. Capture (I) saves the world exactly as it is, with a discreet Synfield mark. Share it, download it or copy the link to that world.
  • Every world has its own link. When you share a world, the link opens straight into it and shows a preview of that world in your messages.
  • See the world without controls. Press H to hide the controls and explore without distractions. You can also record your screen with your device, or show the world on a big screen.
  • Six languages. English, Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Catalan and German.
